Loctite 222 is a low strength thread locker perfect for small fasteners, long engagement length fasteners and components requiring occasional adjustment. Parts can be disassembled with hand tools. Applications: set screws, adjustment screws, calibration screws, meters, gauges.

Loctite 242 is a removable strength, general-purpose threadlocker especially well-suited for fasteners between 1/4" and 3/4" diameter. Parts can be dissembled with hand tools. Applications: machine tools, presses, pumps, compressors, mounting bolts, gearboxes.
262 Permanent
Loctite 262 is a permanent, high strength threadlocker that locks large fasteners and offers heavy-duty protection. Localized heating and hand tools are required to separate parts. Applications: all fasteners that must withstand heavy shock, vibration, or extreme environmental or chemical conditions.
272 High Temperature
Loctite 272 is a permanent, high strength and high temperature threadlocker that is suited for applications where the temperatures range up to 200 C. Recommended for bolts up to 1-1/2" in diameter. Heat and hand tools are required for disassembly.
Applications: fasteners that require high temperature threadlocking.
290 Wicking
Loctite 290 is a low viscosity, penetrating threadlocker that wicks along the threads of pre-assembled fasteners to secure them in place. It also seals porosities in welds and metal parts. Localized heating and hand tools are required for disassembly.
Applications: pre-assembled fasteners, instrumentation screws, electrical connectors, carburetors.
Tight
Tight is a multi-purpose anaerobic gel that seals, locks, and retains. It seals against most liquids and gases and works well on coarse threads, large gaps and all overhead applications.
