Flat glass gauge pad for steam service liquid level measurement.

Kraft Industrial Supply represents several manufacturers producing various methods of registering liquid level by mechanical means. Level is indicated by means of a sight glass attached either directly or by piping to a liquid supply vessel. Valves can be from brass, bronze, steel or stainless steel and glass can be supplied in either flat gauge pad (as shown above) or tubular (as shown below). Tubular valve sets can be supplied with glass & protective rods cut to service lengths.

Kraft Industrial stocks liquid level valve sets in both plain and automatic ball check type in both 1/2" & 3/4" NPT for both 5/8" & 3/4" OD Tubular Glass.  We have a glass cutting machine and are able to supply tubular glass in any length required in outside diameters from 1/2" through 3/4" (Plain, Red Line, Heavy Wall Clear, Heavy Wall Red Line). Kraft Industrial stocks a variety of gauge glass washers and brass followers, as well as standard 3/16" diameter protective rods (cut to length).

Kraft Industrial sells MacBeth™ brand flat gauge glass for steam service. Protective mica shields, cushion and sealing gaskets for these glasses are available from stock (non-asbestos cushion, wire inserted non-asbestos, grafoil, reinforced w/stainless steel grafoil in either standard or wide flange versions)
